Terms & Conditions

General

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your attendance and participation in Warsaw Glitch: International Film & Media Festival (“GLITCH,” “the Festival”), taking place August 27–30, 2026 in Warsaw, Poland. By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or entering any Festival venue, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Festival is organized by Warsaw Glitch. These Terms apply to all attendees, guests, accredited persons, volunteers, and any other individuals present at Festival venues and events.

Tickets & Admission

  • All tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
  • Valid identification may be required upon entry. The Festival reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who cannot present valid identification matching their ticket or accreditation.
  • Ticket holders must comply with all venue rules, capacity limits, and safety regulations. Entry to specific screenings and events is subject to availability and may be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Refunds are available up to 14 days before the Festival start date. After this period, tickets are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Code of Conduct

Warsaw Glitch is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Disruptive behaviour during screenings, panels, workshops, or other Festival events, including excessive noise and use of mobile phones during screenings.
  • Possession or consumption of illegal substances on Festival premises. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
  • Any behaviour that endangers the safety or well-being of others.

Violations may result in immediate removal from the venue without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Festival Credentials

Accreditation badges and Festival credentials are strictly personal and non-transferable. Loss or theft of credentials must be reported immediately to Festival staff. Replacement may be issued at the Festival's discretion and may incur a fee. Misuse of credentials, including unauthorized sharing or duplication, will result in revocation of accreditation.

Liability

The Festival shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by attendees during the event, except where caused by the Festival's proven negligence. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings brought to Festival venues.
  • Injury resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or venue regulations.
  • Disruption, delay, or cancellation of events caused by circumstances beyond the Festival's control.

Photography & Recording

By attending the Festival, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Festival's official media team. These materials may be used for promotional, archival, and editorial purposes.

Unauthorized recording, streaming, or photography of screened films and performances is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of copyright law. Personal photography in public areas of the Festival is permitted for non-commercial use only.

Intellectual Property

All Festival branding, logos, visual identity, programme materials, and website content are the intellectual property of Warsaw Glitch and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent. Films, artworks, and other creative works presented at the Festival remain the intellectual property of their respective creators.

Changes & Cancellations

The Festival reserves the right to modify the programme, schedule, venue, or lineup at any time without prior notice. In the event of a full cancellation of the Festival due to force majeure or other extraordinary circumstances, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or credit toward a future edition. The Festival shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
